How to Transfer Your Domain to CyberGlobalNet
Transferring your domain to CyberGlobalNet is a straightforward process. While the exact steps may vary slightly depending on your current domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, etc.), the overall process is the same.
This guide is divided into two simple steps:
- Preparing your domain for transfer (at your current registrar)
- Submitting the transfer to CyberGlobalNet
Before You Start (Important Requirements)
Before initiating a domain transfer, please confirm the following:
- 60-Day Rule:
Domains cannot be transferred if they were registered or transferred within the last 60 days. - Access to Email:
You must have access to the administrator email address associated with the domain. - Domain Must Be Unlocked:
The domain must be unlocked at your current registrar. - EPP / Authorization Code Required:
You will need the domain’s EPP code (also called Authorization Code or Auth Code).
Step 1: Prepare Your Domain for Transfer
At your current domain registrar, you will need to complete the following actions:
1. Disable Domain Privacy (If Enabled)
If your domain has privacy or protection enabled, temporarily disable it.
This ensures confirmation emails are delivered correctly during the transfer process.2. Unlock the Domain
Domains are usually locked by default to prevent unauthorized transfers.
You must unlock the domain before requesting the EPP code.3. Obtain the EPP (Authorization) Code
The EPP code is a unique transfer key generated by your registrar.
It may be:- Displayed on screen
- Sent to the administrator email
- Available in the domain transfer section of your registrar
⚠️ Keep this code secure — it is required to complete the transfer.
Step 2: Submit the Domain Transfer to CyberGlobalNet
How you submit the transfer depends on your situation:
Option A: You Already Purchased a Service Through a Sales Executive
If you already purchased hosting, website, email, or another service through a CyberGlobalNet Sales Executive:
